Salary Range: $3,643 - $4,865

Starting salary for this position is: $3,643 (Monthly) Employees hired at the entry step of this range receive salary step advancement after six months and every 12 months thereafter. An employee hired at anything higher than the entry step of the range will have salary step advancement after 12 months and every 12 months thereafter until they reach the top of the salary range. Each salary step advancement will be approximately a 5% increase.

About Us

Spokane Community College (SCC) is a beautiful campus located in the inland Pacific Northwest, on the ancestral home of the Spokane Tribe, near the Spokane River. About the Career Pathway Specialist

Under the general supervision of the Career Services Supervisor, the primary purpose of the Career Pathway Specialist is to serve as a resource to ensure students from the SCC Adult Basic Education division's English as a Second Language program have access to a comprehensive array of services that support their educational goals and assist them with navigating to their career pathways.

This position is responsible for providing students with career-related services and resources to support informed career decisions, conduct successful job searches, and make connections with employers and employment opportunities. This position will help students with career exploration, goal setting, and planning.

This position will provide wrap-around student service and troubleshoot issues as they arise while always maintaining professional and personal integrity and ethics regarding fairness for students. This position also assists with developing and coordinating student-centered, college-wide activities that ensure a clear pathway from Adult Basic Education's English as a Second Language program to credit-bearing or degree/certificate programs in other instructional divisions.
