Job Description

As an Enterprise Technology Project Manager, you will lead transformative projects from inception to completion, driving our company's success and making a significant impact. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage project scope, schedule, and cost, and ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions.

Projects range from small scale (capital or non-capital) projects to large scale projects. In this role, projects have a distinct beginning and end. There are typically no direct reports; rather people and other resources are indirectly managed as part of a project team. Jobs in this family are progressive and employees may be promoted to the next level upon meeting the requirements of that level depending based on business need.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the overall project delivery: budget, timeline, quality, change management, communication plans, and deliverables which could include, but not be limited to, the following:

  • Analyzes key performance indicators to improve performance.

  • Conducts financial analysis and forecasting of life cycle costs.

  • Applies and adapts project management techniques.

  • Project may not be well defined or require creativity or new approaches.

  • Requires extensive or significant risk management.

  • Participates in or leads negotiations as well as formal partnering agreements with other firms

  • Partners with department and business unit leaders to define opportunities and projects based on ROI and business strategy goals.

  • Responsible overall long-term budgets.

  • Mentor and guide other Project Managers to foster a culture of excellence.

Requirements

Associate Project Manager:

  • AA from an accredited college or university in a field of study that is relevant to the required knowledge, skills and abilities.

  • Requires valid driver's license.

  • 1+ year of relevant experience.

  • Strong working knowledge of key operation business process and core applications.

  • Ability to interpret and explain complex business processes and concepts.

    Project Manager I:

  • BA/BS from an accredited college or university in a field of study that is relevant to the required knowledge, skills and abilities.

  • Requires valid driver's license.

  • Associate level project management certification, such as Certified Associate Project Management (CAPM), or ability to obtain within one year.

  • 3+ years' relevant experience including 1 year of construction or other technical project management experience.

  • Ability to manage a team and personal dynamics to effectively drive projects forward, lead project meetings, develop creative and innovative solutions, and build relationships with internal/ external stakeholders.

    Project Manager II includes the above requirements plus:

  • Professional level project management certification, such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Construction Manager (CCM), or ability to obtain within one year.

  • 5+ years' relevant experience including 3 years of construction or other technical project management experience.

  • Ability to work effectively with senior staff members and management, manage unique resource group for the delivery of projects, demonstrate knowledge of projects and technical requirements from relevant functional area, and lead process improvement initiatives.

    Project Manager III includes the above requirements plus:

  • Professional level project management certification (I.E. Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Construction Manager (CCM)).

  • 7+ years of related or relevant experience including 6 years of construction or other technical project management experience.

  • Ability to demonstrate advanced knowledge of and competency in project management and technical requirements from relevant functional area, lead the most complex and technical projects in the functional area, effectively collaborate with external regulatory, governmental, business, or customer groups, and work with senior management, building agreement and influencing.

Hybrid work options are available for this role. The successful candidate will be required to work at our Spokane, Washington headquarters at least 3 days per week including Mondays and Tuesdays with an additional day determined by the employee and manager.
