Job Title: Millwright

Job Description

Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance on motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines. Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation, listening for problems, and using precision measuring and testing instruments. Removal of old equipment and installation of new. Answers questions and requests regarding mechanical maintenance. Receives warehouse goods and materials and checks them against purchase orders and delivery documentation to ensure correctness and proper condition. Maintains accurate records of preventative maintenance schedules, as well as knowledge of general and preventative maintenance procedures. Performs weekly safety checks to ensure a safe and clean environment and eliminate all hazards. Understands proper LOTO procedures.

Hard Skills

  • Strong rigging experience with a good understand of safety

  • Overhead crane inspections and repairs (Overhead cranes are 2 ton and 5 ton)

  • Stand up and sit down forklift operation

  • Welding

  • Specifying parts needed for proper repairs

  • AC/DC 480 electrical

  • Machine maintenance (press brake, roll forming, punch press)

Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Spokane, Washington.

Work Environment

Shift Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm with 30-minute lunch. 45-50 people work there between the production floor and offices and both shifts.
