Schedule: Monday - Friday: 6:00 am - 1:30 pm (various hours/flexibility required) $19.46 - $27.25 USD Hourly Exciting opportunity to help others, our Mobile Phlebotomist perform a variety of procedures, including venipuncture, dermal punctures, responsible for collecting and processing laboratory specimens in an accurate and timely manner, and maintaining accurate records in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations. Point of Care Test (POCT) is used in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases from patients of all ages. You will: Specimen collection, handling, and processing Assist in maintaining laboratory areas, equipment, and supplies and must be able to run specimens from clinic to nearby hospital, multiple times a day (hospital is within walking distance) Participate in committees and task forces Easily adapt to new and changing roles, responsibilities, demands, and technologies Keep current on regulatory requirements Drive to various IOP/PSC and residential facilities to perform draws Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent: completion of accredited Phlebotomy training program and clinical rotation preferred Required: per WA Dept. of Health, current possession of an active WA State MA-P certification (medical assistant-phlebotomy) or CMA (certified medical assistant): the certification must be made available during the screening phase Skills and Abilities Previous phlebotomy experience required and familiarity with laboratory processing (accessioning), also preferred Knowledge of anatomy and physiology preferred Ability to work with individuals at all organizational levels, particularly peers, team members, supervisors, managers, and other departments Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Self-directed, open to new learning experiences, and demonstrate teamwork, and exceptional customer service Ability to multitask while maintaining quality and efficiency Ability to work five shifts/week, including some weekends Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment Incyte Diagnostics is an EOE, including disability/veterans We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package* which includes medical, dental, and vision benefits, life and disability benefits, a retirement plan, paid holidays, PTO/vacation benefits, and floating holidays.
