  What you’ll do as a Copper Splicer II

• You will, with guidance, perform tasks associated with the upgrade and splicing of Copper Cables (Copper 710 Splicing)

• You will, with guidance, maintain proper inventory on vehicle based on work assignment

• You will assemble equipment according to design specifications

• You will test, activate, and troubleshoot equipment after installation

• You will maintain proper inventory on vehicle based on work assignment

• You will assemble equipment according to design specifications

• You will install/repair Fiber lines in trenches and/or pedestals using various hand tools

• You will prepare paperwork to track daily production, and accurately record completed work on job site blueprints

  What you’ll need

• To be 18 years of age or older

• Authorization to work in the United States for this company

• Valid State Driver's License

• You will have 3 or more years experience as a cooper splicer with experience on outside plant or system installations while working from blueprints, specifications, and system documentation

• You will have a high school diploma or equivalent

  Additional qualifications (if applicable)

• Physical abilities & exposures

• Routinely: Lift, bend, stoop, climb and work in varying weather conditions

• Occasionally: Lift up to 80 lbs
