Medical Assistant Job Description:

• Rooming patients, take patient vital signs, stock rooms, clean instruments, autoclave, set up rooms for procedures.

• Patient intake includes collecting medical history and recording symptoms, greeting and taking to patient rooms.

• Will see upwards of 40 to 50 patients a day.

MA Skills:

MA, medical assistant, phlebotomy, clinical assistant, vital signs, primary care, Vitals, EMR, ECW, Eclinical Works, patient care

MA Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• 6 months or more of Medical Assistant experience

• MA Diploma required

• MA Certification preferred, not required

• EMR experience an asset

• Proficient with Microsoft Office

• Strong communication skills written and verbal

• Women's Health/Urgent Care and Adult Med specialties
