Job Summary As the Human Resources Assistant, you will support the HR department through the entire employee lifecycle. An important part of your role will be to act as the liaison between HR and employees, ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution of requests and questions. Job Responsibilities Compiles, prepares, and processes a wide variety of Human Resources related correspondence that contain confidential and sensitive information. Perform other administrative or clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and collating as needed. Answer routine inquiries from inside and outside the company on employment verifications, benefits claim processing, and job openings in line with written company policy. Greet visitors as necessary. Maintain employee personnel files and retains records in line with company record retention. Maintain bulletin boards both paper and electronic. Coordinate company locker program. Coordinate employee actives such as annual blood drive, food trucks and sponsored meals. Assists in preparing benefit material and presenting changes to employees. Assist in the onboarding and benefit process for new hires. Select and distribute tickets to company related activities. Champion employee apparel program. Ability to communicate comfortably with staff, and visitors is required as wells as relate to others in a professional and pleasant manner in person and over the phone. Support coworkers in the HR department with projects or companywide activities. Protect themselves and their co-workers by adhering to all company safety and health policies. Identify hazards in the workplace and report them to management and/or safety coordinator. Must work with the EHS department to ensure all local, state, and federal regulatory agencies requirements are met; OSHA, NFPA, DNR, EPA and Amphenol sustainability practices. Must work with the Quality department to ensure all quality standards are met for AS9100 certification. Comply with company policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Education: High school diploma or equivalent One year in an office setting Physical: Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, stooping, twist, reach, reach overhead. Must be able to lift and carry 0-20lbs occasionally. Preferred: One-year Human Resources experience or related field. Shift: 1st (Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm) Knowledge: Clerical Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, stenography and transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology. English Language Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
