ANDY B'S Line Cook (Taney County Hiring Event Participant 1/30/25) in Springfield, Missouri

Line cooks are responsible for preparing fresh, quality, dishes in line with Andy Bs recipe and plating standards. Our Line Cooks have a genuine passion for food and a desire to deliver the best dining experience for every guest, on every visit.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare and plate menu items according to company recipes and standards.
  • Conduct opening/closing duties and maintain a stocked, clean, and tidy kitchen.
  • Comply with food safety guidelines with labeling, dating, initially, and rotating food items.
  • Properly operate and maintain kitchen equipment.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Demonstrate and reinforce Andy Bs Core Values: Teamwork, Service, Inspiring Fun, and Excellence.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • A minimum of 6 months of cooking experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of dietary constraints and food allergies is preferred.
  • Ability to frequently lift to 20 lbs.; occasionally to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to frequently work in temperatures up to 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Friendly, outgoing personality and a get-it-done attitude.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented, loud environment.
  • Successful completion of food handling certifications required by local and state governments.
