IT Concepts Mid-Level IT Project Manager (Cleared) in Springfield, Virginia

IT Concepts is looking for an mid-level Project Manager to support the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing complex projects, providing strategic insights, and collaborating with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning, Documentation, and Coordination:

  • Develop and update project business plans, advocacy briefings, and project schedules in accordance with agency policies.

  • Develop and coordinate Project Plans and project approval documentation.

  • Ensure all project plans are aligned with agency requirements and objectives.

  • Review and assess working documentation and changes.

  • Participate in Agency planning activities with Mission Partners and development contractor-sponsored Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and working groups.

  • Program Management Support:

  • Participate in program management and business management reviews, providing feedback and recommendations to the Government.

  • Support programmatic activities with development contractors, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.

  • Project Performance Evaluation:

  • Evaluate project performance across the organization and make comprehensive recommendations to the Government.

  • Provide advanced and objective insights into program issues, execution risks, and corrective actions.

  • Expertise and Advice:

  • Offer expertise and advice to plan, manage, and execute programs and projects effectively.

  • Draft, review, and, after Government approval, publish program reports as required by statutes and regulations.

  • Policy and Governance:

  • Review and revise management and governance policies, instructions, standards, and best practices.

  • Develop and plan tailored contract oversight and scope verification activities in line with program and financial management policies.

Requirements

  • Clearance: Must possess an active TS/SCI poly with willingness to take CI Poly

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 3-5 years' experience in managing complex projects and programs, with a strong track record of performance evaluation and reporting, preferably within the Intelligence Community.

  • Expertise in providing strategic advice, risk management, and corrective action planning.

  • Experience with drafting program reports and participating in management reviews.

  • Strong understanding of management and governance policies, and ability to revise and implement best practices.

  • Excellent skills in developing project business plans, schedules, and advocacy briefings.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with Government and contractor teams.

  • Demonstrated experience using project management tools, techniques, and processes.

  • Demonstrated experience monitoring project performance.

  • Demonstrated experience developing project management documentation such as project plans and schedules.
