We are seeking Systems Engineers to perform as a Data Scientist/ Analyst. In this role, you will develop, transform, and model data to improve decision making. You are responsible for data extraction and manipulation of data sets resulting in workflows and predictive models for end-users using system tools (dashboards). You will conduct analysis on data to ensure correct predictive forecasting. You will manages the analytics request process by capturing requirements and are responsible for the creation and maintenance of the resulting analytic dashboards.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in math or a science related field (or possess at least 10 years relevant experience in lieu of a degree)

  • 10 years of experience developing and communicating repeatable big data discovery, preparation, manipulation, and normalization for analysts

  • 10 years of experience with statistical and scripting languages for complex GEOINT and data analysis

  • Experience analyzing structured and unstructured data sources, with a deep understanding of relational database structure, exploitation, and spatiotemporal visualization

  • Experience developing and applying multidisciplinary mathematical and statistical models to extract patterns, relationships, and anticipatory likelihoods beyond single discipline capabilities

  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam

  • Experience manipulating data across PostgreSQL , ORACLE, SQL, or other database management systems and wrangling imperfect tabular and geospatial data for analysis

  • 10 years of experience in the development of algorithms leveraging Visual Basic, R, Python, or SQL/NoSQL

  • 10 years of experience with Distributed data and computing tools and visualization tools, including ArcGIS, SPSS, SAS, Matlab, Tableau

  • Knowledge and experience using Activity-based Intelligence (ABI), Structured Observation Management (SOM), and Object Based Production (OBP) tools and tradecraft

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Knowledge of Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or Natural Language Processing

  • Experience building and maintaining databases

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $115779 - $196825

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
