Title: Target Tracking Engineer/Scientist

Location: Onsite in Springfield, VA

Citizenship/Clearance Requirement: US Citizen with an activeTS/SCIRequired. This position supports a government contract.

This position provides research and development expertise to the R&D arm of a DoD/IC agency. We are looking for senior and mid-level candidates who will perform hands-on development of prototypes, capabilities, and R&D concepts. Additionally, you will be responsible for maturing, testing and helping to integrate those capabilities into an operational environment.

R&D areas include: Multi-sensor, multi-modality target detection, multi-target tracking, data visualization, identification, targeting, chain of custody and post-mission analysis.

You must have expertise in at least 2 areas:

Image registration and fusion

Geolocation Accuracy

Geolocation and relative mensuration

Foundational Geospatial-Intelligence

Signal and image processing

Remote Sensing

Triangulation

RADAR processing

SAR image formation and exploitation

OPIR

LIDAR

Computer Vision

AI/ML

Requirements:

Strong programming skills in order to build prototype solutions (MATLAB, Python, C++, C, Java, or similar)

BS or higher degree in Engineering, Science, Imagery Analysis, or related STEM degree

Thought leadership skills

Strong oral and written communication skills – ability to present scientific concepts

Knowledge of emerging technologies and scientific developments

Modeling and Simulation experience

Desired:

Prior target tracking and data fusion algorithm development

Radar warning and missile defense experience
