WGL - Sr Project Controls Analyst

The Sr. Analyst will support the Project Management team through implementation of project management controls, towards delivering defined project outputs on time, within budget, and with quality results. The Analyst will also be responsible for designing and deploying meaningful metrics to track project management effectiveness. The position uses data analysis and reporting software such as SAP, SQL, or Python to collect data from disparate data systems across multiple software platforms to complete analytics.

You Will

• Work with appropriate resources and end users to identify, design, test and implement new performance metrics and reports, and apply appropriate metrics for project control

• Collaborate with Project Management Team Leads to ensure that analysis, reports and metrics are appropriate and useful.

• Prepare periodic executive summary of all exceptions on projects, inclusive of tasks that are behind schedule, tasks that are competing for the same resource, conflicting priorities and exemplary performance etc. for executive review.

• Responsible for the preparation of progress reports, standardized reporting procedures and the monitoring of overall project performance.

• Provide key data to multiple Project Managers to update project status and impact on overall portfolio (e.g. timelines, budget, resources, delays).

• Work with other team members to drive construction efficiency and key metrics improvement.

You Have

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Data Science, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Statistics or other relatable quantitative field preferred

• 5+ Years experience in a project management role, or 5+ years in planning/scheduling/controls functions required

• Demonstrated proficiency performing data analysis to support business decisions

• Advanced analytical skills with experience collecting, organizing, analyzing, and disseminating abundant information with accuracy

• Advanced proficiency using Excel, SQL and/or Python to retrieve, analyze, and present information

• Working knowledge of WG enterprise systems preferred. (ARM, SAP, Peoplesoft, Powerplant, Smallworld)

We offer a competitive salary range of $91,500.00 to $125,625.00 per year, commensurate with experience, education, and skills. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
