Summary The Dining Room Supervisor plays an integral role in the success of our team, our community and creating a place our residents are proud to call home. The primary purpose of this position is to ensure a quality dining experience by greeting and seating residents and guests, overseeing dining room staff and maintaining a pleasant and clean dining environment. Essential Job Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities * Responsible for the daily operations of the dining room. Ensures smooth and timely opening of the dining room, including the facilitation of the pre-meal meeting. Inspects cleaning and closing of the dining room. * Provides supervision for special functions * Greet and seat residents and guests. * Ensures consistently high quality customer service in the dining room. * Assists the dining service manager, hiring, training, disciplining and terminating employees. * Maintain a work environment that is clean and presents a professional image. * Attend and participate in in-services as required by federal, state, and company requirements.
