Summary

To support Anderson Trucking Service, Inc., and its affiliates by performing all mail processing, copy, office supply requests for all mail-related matters, including mail distribution, as well as providing scanning/data entry, quality checking, receptionist, and/or general clerical services on an as-needed basis to support the department. Order office supplies and maintain accurate inventory levels .

Education and Experience

  • High School diploma required and 2-4 years of experience i n a customer-driven environment preferred.

  • Minimum of one year data entry, document processing, or mailroom experience in a professional setting .

  • Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization and with outside vendors .

  • Must be able to deliver administrative support including customer service, research, document preparation, and data analysis.

  • Strong analytical, counting reasoning, and critical thinking skills are required to interpret numerical data for mailing duties.

  • Must be detailed oriented and able to prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously to meet company deadlines.

  • Familiarity with computer applications, which includes the ability to learn new and complex computer system application .

  • Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.

  • Must be able to demonstrate a proactive commitment to ATS corporate values and the success of all staff.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) required .

  • Excellent communication skills (written, listening and verbal).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Performs clerical functions associated with all mail processing, copying , and office supply requests and offers technical advice for mail-related matters.

  • Receives, sorts, and directs incoming and interoffice mail; prepares all out-going mail and completes necessary forms in compliance with postal or delivery service regulations.

  • Track all postage paid, answer questions, and investigate issues that occur .

  • Receive, prioritize, process, and distribute all department photo-copying requests.

  • Purchase and maintain inventory for office supplies; assist in selecting suppliers; and fill internal office supply orders.

  • Efficiently and accurately?scan, index, and quality check?all company related paperwork.

  • Enters alpha and numeric data for all company related paperwork, verify accuracy of data, and correct keying errors.

  • Serve as a back-up front desk receptionist answering phones, greeting visitors and responding to requests.

  • Understands and consistently performs in accordance with ATS Mission, Vision , and Values .

  • Support ATS’ culture by aligning actions, behaviors, performance, and decisions in accordance with the Company’s values as set forth in our All-Employee Competencies .

  • Complete work responsibilities outside of normal business hours.

  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

    Physical Requirements (Office-related positions)

    This position performs work primarily in an office setting.

  • Constantly in a stationary position and occasionally will move around.

  • Constantly operates a keyboard and mouse and constantly utilizes a computer monitor(s).

  • Constantly conversing with internal and external customers in person or via phone system.

  • Occasionally must be able to move/position packages from 1 to 50 lbs.
