Job Description:
A position is open for a postdoc at the Liao Lab (http://liaolab.com) to look at the physics of aquatic acceleration. This 3-year, NSF-funded position offers a unique opportunity to explore the unsteady dynamics of undulatory locomotion in fishes using computational, robotic and biological approaches. Work will take place at The Whitney Laboratory for Marine Bioscience (http://www.whitney.ufl.edu), a research institute at the University of Florida (http://www.biology.ufl.edu/). The Whitney Lab is located in St. Augustine, and has strengths in biomechanics, neuroscience, genomics, bioinformatics, and development.
Expected Salary:
Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Minimum Requirements:
Ph.D. in engineering, neuroscience, physics, computer science, biology or a related field.
