Universal Health Services Facility Cook Per Diem/On Call in ST. JOHNS, Michigan

Responsibilities

Cedar Creek Hospital of Michigan opened in 2017 as a beautiful and state of the art 54-bed facility. Cedar Creek provides evidence-based treatment to adolescents and adults struggling with mental health issues. Cedar Creek Hospital invests in our patients by offering an integrated medicine approach that provides the latest therapies including yoga, mindfulness, aromatherapy, music therapy and nutrition. As part of our success and innovation in the field we are seeking qualified applicants for a Per Diem Cook position.

Position Description

  • Prepares and serves food for patients, staff, and visitors to meet their dietary needs.

  • Cooks must be comfortable with scratch cooking, including fresh ingredients, and attention to detail and quality.

  • Maintains safe and sanitary conditions of work area and ensures food quality is at health regulation standards.

  • Follows dietary and hospital safety procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.

    Hours: Hours for this position are PRN, or as needed.

    Qualifications

    Cook Job Requirements

Experience as a cook or cook’s aide in an institutional setting is preferred.Must be able to follow oral and written instructions in order to operate food service equipment and follow directionMust be able to complete assigned tasks in order to provide an efficient, safe, sanitary, attractive and orderly facility.
