EDWARD JONES Digital Product Owner II - 96067BR in St. Louis, Missouri

The Product Owner serves as the individual accountable for delivering user value and outcomes within a digital agile production team. We work in collaboration with the Edward Jones Canadian Business Segment to design and deliver systems and processes to support our clients, branch team, and the home office. Reporting to the Product Manager of Canadian Investment Management, this individual aligns strategy to execution through the development and maintenance of the product roadmap, outlining the body of work expected now, next, and into the future.

What Youll Do:

  • Serve as the individual accountable for one or more systems, or sub-components of highly complex product structures. Responsible for providing thought leadership and delivering value to internal and external customers around our CGI vendor platform.
  • Align strategy and execution through development and maintenance of a product roadmap detailing work expected now, next, and into the future.
  • Regine capabilities in the form of product features and user stories through a health backlog to ensure that the product aligns with customer expectations, business goals, and timely market dynamics.
  • Management of resource requirements, stakeholder solution requirements, dependencies, timelines, milestones, and success criteria to deliver on the promised business value.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers, QE automation, and other stakeholders to ensure a shared understanding of product requirements, foster partnership, and remove impediments.
  • Influence digital support teams through thoughtful storytelling, product vision, and planning to fulfill product and portfolio strategy.
  • Serve as a primary contact for issues and escalations related to supported systems.
  • Work with firm leaders to attract, develop, and drive a team of high performing associates and contractors while playing an important role in their ongoing personal and professional development

**Education/Certification:

**

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, management information systems, computer science, or related field
  • 4 years of experience within Investment Management/Product Management
  • Strong knowledge of financial services concepts, practices, and procedures, with emphasis on the Product
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail orientation with strong analytical capabilities
  • Ability to overcome ambiguity and deliver results
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and direct work in a way that maximizes both personal and team efficiency
  • Teamwork/collaboration mindset with the ability to work with stakeholders throughout the organization and drive toward a decision
  • A robust understanding of full-cycle software development within an Agile framework
  • Product orientation with a strong sense of ownership
