Jacobs Entry Level Mechanical Engineer - Summer 2025 in St. Louis, Missouri

We’re seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our team in St Louis, MO. You’ll have the opportunity to use your theoretical knowledge and apply it to solving today’s challenges.

As part of our team, you’ll have the chance to work on projects that bring innovative solutions to our clients’ challenges locally and worldwide by providing a range of engineering services.

You’ll be responsible for providing system design calculations and other related design services including coordination with the designs of other trades (architectural and engineering) under the guidance of more senior technical staff.

You’ll also take ownership of the completeness, accuracy and timeliness of the work assigned to you by demonstrating the ability to progress from basic design work assignments to more complicated and involved projects working in conjunction with a technical team.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering

  • Desire to design building mechanical systems, including HVAC and piping, for buildings and facilities.

  • United States Citizenship

Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • Engineer in Training (EIT)

  • Proficiency in Revit, 3D CADD

  • Prior work experience with a design firm in an internship or similar setting.
