Hopewell Center-Central | St. Louis, MO | Full Time The healthcare office manager position role exists to ensure that the management of the clinics fully supports the delivery of high-quality client care and mapping of client flow processes. Additionally, the roles work with managements team to develop strategies to reduce no shows while increasing access to services. Essential Job Functions • Ensure proper client registration and collection of required documents. • Prepare and send clients flow report, no shows, and client satisfaction survey data. Also, Provide monthly Practice Management Reports. This is a priority task. • Be accountable for provision of expert management services to the practice, specifically being accountable to providers, assessors, and management. • Development of organization systems to maximize productivity of provider, assessors, and therapy. • Resolving client/disputes in the best way possible, including seeking ways to train staff on better customer service. • Ensure patient privacy and confidentiality is always maintained. • Supervise front office staff and medical records staff. • Completing staff performance appraisals and training staff. • Develop strategies for change and growth when required. • Change agent in developing a good working relationship with clients, staff, including development of caring culture. • Attending staff meetings and doctor/staff meetings, regular practice meetings • Agree to and comply with all company policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook, including how to handle patient grievances, proper intake procedures, staff meeting requirements rules and regulations of the clinical records department, and general code of conduct. MINIMUM EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, public health, or health information management, with at least 2 years of experience, or Master degree in public health, health information management and technology, healthcare administration or business administration. Supervisor relationship: • Provide leadership and guidance to all aspects of front office and health information systems. • Take an active role in monitoring the identification, development, and execution of strategic objectives. • Involved, as appropriate, all employees in order to achieve goals. • Handle difficulty personnel situations directly, using appropriate discretion and Human Resources’ advice. • Champion change and effectively manage the implementation of new ideas • Reinforce team approach throughout functions; support and solicit input from team members at all levels within the organization. • Complete evaluations of employees and communicate results as required. • Collect and maintain data on outcomes.
