Tri-Rinse Maintenance Technician in St Louis, Missouri

We are seeking a highly motivated maintenance technician to work in our St. Louis, MO location, performing preventative maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment, as well as minor building maintenance and repairs.

    What will you be doing?

  • Respond to all maintenance issues, both mechanical and electrical, throughout the plant

  • Install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain equipment in compliance with plant codes, policies and procedures, operation manuals and manufacturer specifications

  • Adhere to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies and procedures and actively participate in the plant safety program

  • Effectively communicate work performed and equipment status both verbally and in writing

  • Modify machine controls and operations

  • Read electrical schematics, PLC programs and operation manuals for equipment

  • Operate various lifts

What makes you the right fit?

  • You have achieved at least a High School Diploma (or equivalent education)

  • You have spent at least 5 years as a maintenance mechanic on manufacturing equipment, or you had an apprenticeship in an Industrial Manufacturing plant

  • You have experience with industrial electrical circuits in a manufacturing setting including 480 Volt, 3 phase systems and computerized equipment

  • You are able to expertly read and implement manufacturing specifications and schematics

  • You are comfortable using Microsoft Office (Even better if you know CMMS software!)

  • You are a strong communicator with effective written and verbal communication skills.

  • You are a self-starter but can also work collaboratively with a team!

  • You aren't afraid to make difficult decisions on complex jobs

  • You have some flexibility in your schedule - available for some weekends or the occasional off shift.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
