The ideal candidate with have at least 3 years of experience in manufacturing and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering. strong knowledge of process optimization and automation technologies is required.

Growing Company in the greater Boone Terre area is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to add to its team. The ideal candidate with have at least 3 years of experience in manufacturing and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering. strong knowledge of process optimization and automation technologies is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze existing assembly lines, to identify bottlenecks, inefficient processes, safety concerns, and areas for automation implementation.

  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement and work effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operation and efficient problem-solving

  • Evaluate the performance of manufacturing processes, material flow, and material handling systems, to identify opportunities for further optimization

  • Lead the development and implementation of process improvements, new manufacturing processes, and equipment including the procurement process for equipment, vendor selection, and project timeline management

  • Leverage production data to track key metrics

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related discipline

  • At least 3-5 years of proven experience as a Manufacturing Engineer, ideally with a focus on automation in an assembly environment

  • strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including quality control principles and techniques and automation technologies (robotics, PLCs, sensors, vision systems, etc.)

  • Experience with process analysis, optimization, and equipment design

  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and deliver results within budget constraints

  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for designing automation systems

  • Experience in the consumer goods or packaging industry preferred
