Job Description
As the Regional Buyer - Raw Materials , you will be responsible for the purchasing process of assigned items for the regional sites. Ensure the timely and full supply of items and service of the assigned items to assigned sites. Be the connector between the supplier customer service and the need of the sites. Interact closely with the site requester to coordinate supply in accordance with sites and internal business partner needs. The Regional Buyer - Raw Materials, serves as the force for change within the procurement process while remaining agile for urgent plant needs.

Complete Purchase Orders and call offs in SAP ERP system
Address and solve technical issues from the requisition to purchase order process for goods and services
Maintain Procurement documents, files, and records
Assist Sourcing Manager/Hub manager in reviewing, tabulating, and assessing bids and preparing proposals to vendors
Review, prepare, verify and/or approve financial and business transaction within established dollar limits and guidelines
Run the purchasing process for assigned products and services including handling of supply issues, problem solving and communicating status to requesters
In charge of the transactional part of the purchasing process
Issue purchase orders from approved purchase requisitions, select sources of supply as required, negotiate prices and terms and conditions
Interact closely and maintain up-to-date contact information with supplier customer service to coordinate supply
Follow up on orders to ensure that items are shipped and delivered complete and on time
Comply with ICL procurement policies and procedures
Control purchasing documentation and supplier customer service communication
Assist with supplier complaint management
Work close with the Master Data Team to improve vendor master data
Create and propose ideas to improve the purchasing process in the assigned items and through ICL
Actively participate in sourcing activities for the relevant spend, including support of Sourcing Managers with project identification, project planning and execution, with the goal of achieving cost reductions, while maintaining or
improving quality or vendor service levels
What skills and experience do I need to be successful in this role?
Bachelors degree or 3+ years of purchasing/procurement experience
Prior experience working in a purchasing capacity within a manufacturing industry is preferred
SAP experience preferred
Demonstrated skill at maintaining high accuracy, and high attention to detail
Demonstrated negotiation and conflict resolution skills
Strong business orientation and understanding of business processes
Act with determination and decisiveness
Ability to communicate with multiple levels of an organization
Ability to think and act strategically
Ability to deliver value to the customer
Compensation at ICL:
If you are hired at ICL, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. We also offer a generous benefits package (more information on benefits listed below).
Salary Range : $61,000 - $83,000
Annual Bonus Target: 5%, subject to plan provisions.
