Park Nicollet Health Services Catheter Laboratory Technologist in St. Louis Park, Minnesota

Park Nicollet is looking to hire a to Cath Lab Technologist join our team! Position Summary: Performs high quality and accurate diagnostic imaging in accordance with established protocols. Interacts with patients, physicians, and staff in a professional and courteous manner. Assists in maintaining imaging systems in optimum working condition. Applies knowledge of radiation protection, emergency protocols and procedures and proper equipment to maximize safety in the work environment. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday Days Weeknight and Weekend off premise call Required Qualifications: Radiologic Technical training from an accredited American Medical Association (AMA) School of Radiologic Technology ARRT certified. Must maintain current CPR skills. Must be willing to participate in continuing education to remain current on technical advances. Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients. Must possess the ability to operate the following pieces of equipment safely and efficiently: Patient Transfer Devices, Security System, Fire Alarms, Laser Imaging Equipment, Three-Dimensional Workstation, Emergency Equipment, Power Injector, Processors, Film Duplicator, PC, printer, telephone, fax and photocopier. Proficient in RIS, PACS, and EPIC Preferred Qualifications: Interventional Radiology and/or Cath Lab experience preferred. Advance certification preferred.
