TEKsystems Collections Manager in St. Louis Park, Minnesota

We are hiring for a collections manager based in the Twin Cities. This person will be responsible for overseeing the growth of Collection operations through managing client performance and a team of collectors.

Day-to-day duties:

• Manages staff of 12-15 Collectors and 2 Team Leads

• Establishes client and staff collection goals

• Creates collection strategies and workflows to increase recoveries

• Maintains client relationships and manages client expectations

• Monitors and evaluates staff performance and development

• Handles personnel issues, interviewing, hiring and termination of collection staff

• Prepares and analyzes reporting at the client and collector level

• Develops and meets budget requirements (payroll, bonus/incentive programs, revenue, etc.)

• Serve as a leader within the organization contributing to a positive work environment.

• Preserve confidentiality and security of sensitive information.

• Assist in special projects as requested.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Three to five years experience in the credit and collection arena, one of which must be in a leadership role as a Collection Manager in Probate preferred

• Working knowledge of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, and state and federal laws applying to collection activities

• Must have strong Excel skills and well versed in other Microsoft Office applications

• Artiva debt collection software experience, Guaranteed Contacts, LiveVox dialer experience a plus

• High school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
