Nvent Management Company Senior FP&A Analyst in St. Louis Park, Minnesota

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION: Work with Digital functional leaders to create an annual operating budget quarterly forecast and communicate business drivers to various financial leaders and Chief Technology Officer CTO. Review monthly results against financial plan, financial forecast, and prior years with Digital functional leadership teams. Collaborate with broader Finance organization to collect invoice-level details to explain variances and ensure accuracy of accruals. Own and track all Enterprise Capital Expenditure requests and spend; provide cost-benefit analysis to various business stakeholders. Cross-functional support for invoice coding and approvals. Build and maintain standard reporting packages for ELT month-end reporting. Significant contributor to the Finance for the Future initiative, including building out self-service reporting via Tableau software and implement best practices for data visualization. Understand and communicate due dates for month-end close and forecast cycles to digital functional leadership. Guide and support global FP&A organization through annual operating plan and quarterly forecast cycle deadline and deliverables. Provide and/or assist on ad-hoc reporting for leadership requests. Meet deadlines for standard processes and ad-hoc requests. YOU HAVE: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics required. 3+ years experience in or with Financial Planning, Operational Finance or Corporate Finance. Strong verbal and written communications skills with all levels of experience within an organization. Excellent attention to detail and organization skills. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau). ERP and enterprise data consolidation experience. Desire to support continuous improvement in reporting and bring our finance organization to a more digital future. Knowledge of US GAAP and International Accounting Standards (IAS). Must be able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality. Must be flexible, organized and able to accurately work under time constraints and deadlines.
