HealthPartners Supervisor, Clinical Behavioral Health in St. Louis Park, Minnesota

HealthPartners is hiring a Supervisor, Clinical Behavioral Health. This position exists to ensure effective and efficient department functioning by working directly with the Clinical Manager of Behavioral Health Services in planning, developing, coordinating, and monitoring behavioral health services for the Behavioral Health Department with HealthPartners. Supervises psychotherapists and works with interdisciplinary teams (or team) to ensure high quality service. ACCOUNTABILITIES: Responsible for the supervision of staff, including having the authority to hire, transfer, lay off, promote, discipline and discharge, train, reward and review performance of employees. Ensures compliance to organizational and departmental policies and procedures. Plans and develops behavioral health services consistent with division programmatic goals, objectives, policies, and procedures. This is done in concert with the Clinical Manager. Provides administrative supervision to providers assigned in collaboration with Clinical Manager. Provides or ensures the provision of clinical supervision and/or consultation to providers assigned. Provides direct clinical supervision for Licensed Graduate Social Workers. Responsible for assuring that clinical consultation is available to assigned providers. Supports professional training and growth through individual and group supervisory meeting as well as chart review for the purpose of meeting licensing requirements. Responsible for the development and effective functioning of assigned team(s). Responsible for team building, staff support, skill development, and resource allocation. Supports recruitment and orientation of new therapy staff as assigned. Provides consistent site leadership at assigned clinic(s). Assists in preparing annual program budget. Quality and Data: Works in collaboration with others to implement initiatives. Develops and integrates data collection for program. Uses quality management tools and measurements to monitor standards, processes, and outcomes. Works in collaboration with others to review and interpret quality management data feedback and make appropriate changes to improve outcomes of care. Facilitates meetings to gather input and provide feedback to others regarding care initiatives and outcomes of care. Performs other duties as assigned. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Master's or Ph.D. Degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field. Must be licensed to practice in professional field Must be able to provide clinical training and supervision per LGSW licensing requirements Minimum of (5) year's post-graduate degree clinical experience in behavioral health with demonstrated skills in a broad range of therapies Demonstrated skill and competency in clinical supervision, consultation and/or staff training, leadership, and/or administration Commitment to interdisciplinary integrated group practice Excellent communication skills PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Clinical experience should reflect background working with a broad spectrum of patients and populations Previous supervision experience Experience with graduate clinical training and supervision Experience practicing as a behavioral health professional with an understanding of the interface between behavioral health and medical settings Knowledge of managed health care practices, issues, and trends We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any other federal, state or local protected class.
