Regions Hospital Clinical Research Assistant in St. Paul, Minnesota
The Clinical Research Assistant is part of an integral and collaborative research team located at the Neuroscience Research Center at the Neuroscience Center and/or Struthers Parkinson's Center. The Center oversees all research activities within Neuroscience Research at the Neuroscience Research Center, Struthers Parkinson's Center, Regions Hospital, and Methodist Hospital. We are looking for a motivated energetic individual who approaches work from a patient centered perspective and has passion around finding new treatments for disease affecting the brain and spine. This position will: Conduct clinical research to improve the treatment and prevention of Alzheimer's disease, stroke and other CNS disorders. Development and implementation of research protocols that may include cognitive assessments, blood draw protocols, and biomarker assays. Other duties will include potential support of pre-clinical studies as needed, training of research assistants, preparation of manuscripts/reports, as well as general lab and office activities. Work schedule: FTE: 1.0 (40 hrs. weekly0, Monday-Friday, Day Shift Required Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field. Experience: Minimum of two years of research experience in neuroscience, neuroanatomy, pharmacology, biochemistry or related field.
