Genesis10 is seeking a ERP Implementation Support for a contract with our client in St. Paul, MN. Job Description: The Contract Level 2 IT Help Desk Support Specialist is responsible for providing advanced technical support and troubleshooting for end-users across various locations. This role requires a high level of expertise in diagnosing and resolving issues as it relates to a software implementation. The specialist will travel to different sites as needed and provide off-hours support to ensure continuous availability of IT services. This is a contract-based position that requires strong technical skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. This resource will be supporting a manufacturing environment so targeting a resource who has worked in a Level 2 support type of role within a manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities: Advanced Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve software issues for end-users. Provide support for end users who will be new to using scanners. Manage and resolve issues that come up from end users in the plant ensuring timely and effective solutions. Assist users in person, over the phone, and via remote support tools with MS Teams with technical issues and inquiries. Deliver excellent customer service, maintaining high levels of user satisfaction. Travel and On-Site Support: Travel to various company locations to provide on-site support as required. The first two locations to go live with MS Dynamics 365 are LeCenter, MN and Boston, MA. Collaborate with local IT teams to address specific site needs and challenges. Off-Hours Support: Provide off-hours support on a rotating schedule to ensure 24/7 availability of IT services. Respond promptly to urgent issues and outages during off-hours, minimizing downtime. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of support activities, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in the help desk ticketing system. Create user guides and technical documentation to assist end-users and IT staff. Collaboration and Training: Work closely with other IT team members to ensure seamless integration and support of IT services. Provide training and mentorship to the end users, enhancing their skills and knowledge. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve any support processes and procedures Required Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a technical support or help desk role, with at least 2 years in a Level 2 support position. Experience in supporting a diverse range of hardware, software, and network technologies. Has provided level 2 support within a manufacturing environment. Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering high-quality support. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Office and on-site environments, with travel to various company locations as needed. Contract-based with flexible hours, including off-hours and weekend support as required. Competitive contract rate based on experience and qualifications.
