JOB SUMMARY: The purpose of the IT Manager position is to coordinate, plan and lead computer-related activities, determine the IT needs of the Company and implement computer systems to fulfill the Company's IT needs. Oversee Company's telecommunications systems and other electronic support systems. This position directly oversees the Company's Systems Administrators, Mobile/MDM Technician and Helpdesk Technicians. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES: Lead large IT projects, including the design and deployment of new IT systems and services. Monitor performance of information technology systems to determine cost and productivity levels, and to make recommendations for improving the IT infrastructure. Help define IT infrastructure strategy, architecture, and processes. Assess vendors and maintains all contracts. Consulting with other business units in the interest of IT improvements as outlined herein and as directed. Monitoring the IT Service desk for Ticket SLAs, Priorities, Pending Mass Issues and Reoccurring Issues Developing and maintaining IT SOPs Developing and maintaining IT Training guides, user and support specialists Coordinating manpower efforts with IT Acquisitions and the Training department for IT Support Working with the Director of IT Operations to Project Manage Large IT changes Working with the Director of IT Operations with vendors, contracts, and technology changes as needed to further the interests of the company Working with the Director of IT Operations with personnel issues, staffing, training, and team building Ensuring proper communications are going out to the masses as needed for outages, be it expected or unexpected. Work with the Director of IT Operations to maintain a budget sheet of all running costs and annual changes to cost Attend meetings with or as a stand in for the Director of IT Operations as needed Other duties may be assigned QUALIFICATIONS The qualifications listed below are representative of the elements required to perform the job successfully; however, in some cases, an equ valent combination of Education, Training, Certifications and Experience may meet the job qualifications. Education, Training, Certifications: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, required; or equivalent work experience. Master's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or similar, preferred. Experience, Knowledge, Skill Requirements: 10 years IT Service Operations, required 5 years Microsoft Server/Azure/Office product lines, preferred Must have the ability to effectively read, write and communicate in English with employees and customers Proficient in IT designs, processes, procedures. Systems and Software Skills: Ability to operate a computer and use Microsoft Office, required Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, required Other Qualifications: Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record required Must be able to comply with Summit's Drug and Alcohol policy and Background screening requirements, which may also include customer specific requirements based on contractual agreement PHYSICAL & WORK ENVIROMENT REQUIREMENTS Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job duties. Work Environment: Employee will consistently be required to work indoors in an office or remote setting, work alone and with others. Employee will occasionally be required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment, as required by company safety policies.
