Title: Manufacturing Technician Intern Department: Operations Location: Arden Hills, MN Dates/Duration: Flexible Work Hours per Week: Flexible About this role: Responsible for performing functions associated with supporting manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in the set-up, qualification, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration tasks for manufacturing equipment. Determines the preventative maintenance and calibration intervals and is responsible for writing the procedures associated with each activity. Your responsibilities will include: Observe and comply with all safety rules and regulations. This includes QSR and ISO Standards. Perform equipment setup and corrective, preventive, and calibration maintenance as necessary. Install and validate equipment in the production area to improve yield and/or reduce cycle time following the established validation procedure. Identify and implement corrective actions for manufacturing equipment related issues. Evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to fixtures, instruments, or equipment. Develop and revise documents and procedures. Evaluate and order necessary equipment, tools, and fixtures. Required qualifications: Must be pursuing AA degree or have an equivalent combination of education/work experience in a related discipline such as Drafting & Design, Machine Tool Technology, Welding, 3D Printing, Robotics, Automation & Controls, Electronics Engineering, Industrial Controls, etc. Requisition ID:590369 Among other requirements, Boston Scientific maintains specificprohibited substancetest requirements for safety-sensitive positions.
