This position exists to perform a wide variety of plumbing services in a professional manner by providing consistent quality services to ensure clean, safe, and environmentally sound buildings, grounds, and operations for all clientele. Job duties include:
Keeping plumbing related equipment operable by conducting proper maintenance and repair that results in energy and water conservation.
Performing emergency/repairs considering immediate and long-term solutions to plumbing equipment.
Carrying out a preventative maintenance program so that the number of breakdowns and emergencies are minimized.
Perform construction work to improve system functionality and ensure that all systems are operational.
Assist other trades as requested.
Minimum Qualifications
Must possess a valid Journey-level plumber license issued by the State of MN
Must possess a valid St. Paul City Plumbing license (Applicants who do not currently possess a City of St. Paul Competency Card must be willing to obtain one within 9 months of hire)
Must also possess a valid Minnesota driver‘s license.
Preferred Qualifications
- ASSE Backflow Prevention Tester/ Rebuilder Certification
Physical Requirements
Successful candidate must pass pre-employment physical. Physical Demands: Work Performance Testing (WPT). Job involves exerting up to 36-50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 22-30 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 11-15 pounds of force constantly to move or lift objects.
