Job Summary:

Abbott is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Operations Analyst to join our Digital Solutions organization within the Medical Device Division. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in facilitating the contracting process and executing the payment cycle for our digital services and solutions offers. This position requires a strong understanding of commercial operations, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contract Management:

  • Facilitate the end-to-end contracting process for digital services and solutions.

  • Collaborate with legal, finance, and sales teams to ensure contracts are accurate, compliant, and aligned with company policies.

  • Maintain and update contract records in the contract management system.

  • Monitor contract performance and compliance, addressing any issues that arise.

  • Payment Cycle Execution:

  • Oversee the payment cycle for digital services and solutions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.

  • Coordinate with finance and accounts payable teams to resolve payment discrepancies and issues.

  • Track and report on payment status, providing regular updates to stakeholders.

  • Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Analyze commercial operations data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

  • Prepare and present reports on contract performance, payment cycles, and other key metrics.

  • Support decision-making by providing actionable insights based on data analysis.

  • Process Improvement:

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the contracting and payment cycle processes.

  • Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for commercial operations activities.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, including sales, legal, finance, and operations teams, to ensure seamless execution of commercial operations.

  • Serve as a point of contact for inquiries related to contracts and payments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in commercial operations, contract management, or a related role.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Experience with contract management systems and ERP systems is a plus.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The base pay for this position is $83,000.00 – $166,000.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
