The Community Addiction Recovery Enterprise (CARE) program in St Peter has a rewarding career opportunity for a talented individual dedicated to helping people who struggle with chemical use and addiction reclaim their lives. As a Social Worker at CARE you will provide integrated health care and social work services to clients and their families to ensure that a client’s illness, recovery, and transition from one care setting to another are within their biopsychosocial needs.

  • Coordinate admission planning

  • Provide indirect treatment services, case management, and discharge planning

  • Identify client problems requiring consultation and make appropriate referrals to support the individual

Minimum Qualifications

To qualify must meet one of the following combinations of education, licensure and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work; AND

  • Licensure by the State of Minnesota to practice as a Licensed Social Worker (LSW); AND

  • One (1) year of post-bachelor's degree experience providing behavioral health services.

OR

  • Master's degree in Social Work; AND

  • Licensure by the State of Minnesota to practice as a Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW); OR Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW)
