Internship Program Overview

To be eligible for the summer 2025 internship program, you must be a junior standing candidate pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree with a graduate date of May 2026. Most positions are based in St. Petersburg with other available locations depending on company need.

Candidates who successfully complete the internship program have the opportunity to transition into a full-time role at Raymond James after graduation.

Department Overview

The PCG Education & Practice Management Department provides best-in-class tools and resources to manage branches effectively and accelerate business growth. We ensure branches have the flexibility and support to grow their business the way they want. Our team of dedicated professionals works closely with branch/complex managers and staff to ensure that they can easily find the tools they need when they need them and provide them with the right resources to ensure they can follow through. Our goal is to be seen by the branch and team as a partner and a source of real business advantage.

The Branch Admin Development team plays a crucial role in this mission by providing comprehensive onboarding, ongoing education, and resources, as well as mastery level and career development opportunities for branch associates. It’s the Branch Admin Development team’s mission to develop productive and resourceful branch associates, ultimately helping them continuously advance their contributions to thriving and growing advisory practices.

Job Summary

Raymond James PCG Education is seeking am enthusiastic student to join the team as a summer intern. As an intern, this associate will contribute to over a dozen programs run by the Branch Admin Development and Admin Extension teams. These teams are dedicated to helping advisory teams become more efficient and effective – ensuring that they stay up to date on key technology, applications and processes, and implement processes and best practices that help to create capacity and enrich client relationships.

Internship Length: 10 weeks

Start Date: June 2, 2025

End Date: August 8, 2025

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, up to 40 hours per week.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support the team’s development and delivery of meaningful content, resources and reference guides

  • Support the teams marketing and engagement efforts through development of resources and communications

  • Aid in the team’s measurement and reporting of results by analyzing participant data to identify opportunities, report on successes, and increase program impact and reach

  • Aid in participant tracking and support by managing and analyzing participant data

  • Assist in developing and implementing team workflows and processes to continuously identify and implement efficiencies

  • Support program coordination and efficiency by aiding in reoccurring processes and identifying strategic enhancements

  • Support special projects that aid in positioning branch admin development programs as a valuable solution for branches nationwide, including but not limited to: marketing collateral, executive summaries, or targeted campaigns

  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Educational/ Previous Experience Requirements

  • Junior standing pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field.

  • Any equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training approved by Human Resources.
