Responsibilities - Cytotechnologist Lead:

• Responsible to perform cytotechnology testing, assists with cytology preparation of specimens and fine needle aspirations.

• Classify and evaluate specimens referring to pathologist.

• Maintain equipment, supplies and instrumentation.

• Coordinates scheduling.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education

• Required: Bachelors - Related Field

Bachelor's requirement can be waived if certified prior to 1985

Credentials:

• Required: CT (Cytotechnologist) - State of Florida

• Preferred: ASCP/SCT certification

• Preferred: 3 years of experience in Cytotechnology
