Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $15 / hour

What you'll be doing as a Sewing Operator:

• Operate a tape feeder commercial sewing machine as well as a closed stitch & open stitch surger commercial machine

• Responsible for troubleshooting problems with operation process and machines

• Responsible for tracking accurate fabric lot information throughout pre-molding operations by ensuring proper stamping of fabric and accurate measurements of fabric and dies

• Assist with any R&D projects that require sewing operations as requested

• Ability to cross-train in other departments as needed and assigned

• Other duties and projects as assigned

• Designing and manufacturing high quality prosthetic liners to provide users with the mobility they need.

• Weaving fabrics and manufacturing liners.

Job requirements:

• Read, interpret, and follow safety rules and procedures in accordance to Quality Policy

• Near acuity and hand/eye coordination require for proper machinery operation

• Able to hear in a production setting; machinery, loud noises, etc.

• The position is routinely required to sit, stand, walk, stoop kneel, touch, see, and hear.

• May be required to lift up to 35 lbs

• The worker is subject to inside environmental conditions: Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.

• Must have a 100% clean background.

• Must have longevity at jobs (worked at a job for more than 1 year)

• Will undergo a 2-3 hour interview with client

• Basic computer skills

• Ability to thrive in fast paced environment

• Drug test required
