Business Unit Coordinator - Procurement Services

This position is based onsite in St. Petersburg, FLOur Procurement Services - Indirect Business is looking to expand the team strength in the North America & EMEA region. The Business Unit Coordinator (BUC) role will assist in translating business strategy into work programs and processes for assigned customer accounts. You will work independently on difficult assignments that are broad in nature requiring originality and ingenuity with minimal supervision or review. You will provide comprehensive solutions to complex problems for our customers. Results are evaluated at agreed upon milestones for effectiveness in achieving specified results. Extensive contact with internal and external customers is required to accel at this role. What can you expect to do? · Works closely with active customers to manage existing business levels and develop new opportunities through organic growth.· Identifies and supports the development of new customers through market analysis and collaboration with the internal sales team.

· Works closely with other regional team members in support of global customers, and helps to develop support models ensuring efficient processes are adopted.

· Will need to be aware of common goods distribution practices, have a general understanding of financial reporting and VAT application, and have basic knowledge of the various modes of logistics.

· Prepares materials for Request for Proposal (RFP) responses.· Contributes to the forecast & variance process in Company’s financial system.· Supports Quarterly Business Review (QBR) process.· Supports continuous improvement initiatives.· Provides indirect leadership to more junior positions on team (e.g., Customer Service Administrators, etc.)· Displays potential for developing leadership skills with ability to move into a higher level role, i.e., Business Unit Manager. What is the experience needed to be successful in this role?

  • Bachelor's Degree required.

  • 4-6+ years work-related experience required in Business Development, Sales, Manufacturing Operations, and/or Project Management.

  • Solid project management skills.

  • Strong knowledge of global and regional logistics operations and industry.

  • Strong proficiency in determining logistics requirements to enable company’s business goals and objectives with ability to devise and implement strategy to achieve targets.

  • Strong financial and analytical ability. Proficiency in managing business analytics to determine optimum company footprint.

  • Strong knowledge of international direct and indirect taxes as well as global customs regimes.
