General Description

Analyzes and controls administrative process to facilitate and simplify operations and verifies compliance with established procedures to achieve the unit’s results.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Provide general administrative support including mailing, scanning, faxing and copying to management. Compiles data, and creates various written and statistical reports, presentations, and proposals. Coordinates and arranges meetings, prepares agendas, reserves and prepares facilities, and records minutes of meetings. Gives support to assure the compliance of established objectives, plans and procedures. Creates and maintains database and spreadsheet files. Assists in obtaining, compiling, analyzing, and monitoring statistical data from various sources. Prepares various accounting journal entries, review vendor invoices and submit for payment, assists with month-end closings and account analysis. Assist with accounting projects as needed. Communicate regularly with Attorney Offices, conduct research on various laws & regulations and be willing to take the lead on assignments. In some cases, negotiates with vendors, government agencies, external consultants about availability, time, service due date, and service charge (within an authorized margin of discretion). Maintain office supplies and asset inventory for department.

Education

Associate Degree in Business Administration or Accounting

Experience

Two to three years related experience.

Certifications / Licenses

No certifications or license needed.
