Trinity Health Office Coordinator, Per Diem - Wound Care in Stafford Springs, Connecticut

Description:

Johnson Memorial Hospital a member of Trinity Health Of New England is looking for a Medical Office Coordinator to join our Wound Care Center Team located in Enfield, CT.

The Front Office Coordinator responsible for day-to-day functioning of Wound Care front office. This is a per diem position and will be scheduled as needed. The hours are M-F 8-4:30.

You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Contributes to overall quality of care by treating all patients with respect and dignity.

  • provides exceptional customer service in person and over the phone with patient, staff, and family members.

  • registers patients, verifies insurance

  • handles incoming and outgoing mail,

  • maintains general and clinical files, drafts correspondence and reports

  • completes charge entry and reconciliation between wound center and hospital and records submission

  • Maintains proficiency with office computer systems. Performs clerical duties in a fast-paced environment.

  • Collaborates with clinical team

Requirements:

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Associate degree preferred.

  • Three (3) years' experience coordinating daily office operations.

  • Excellent communication skills including verbal and written and implementation of these skills in telephone and interpersonal conversations.

  • Requires proficiency in a Windows based computer environment. Accuracy and dependability required.
