This is an on-site position.

Functional Description:

Provide administrative and analytical support to Operations leadership of a prominent Program Management Office at NAVAIR. As an EA, this position would be responsible directly to the Head of Operations in support of conducting research, preparing statistical reports, handling information requests, and performing clerical functions. Regularly interact with leadership within the PMA and external stakeholders. Timely responses in a fast-paced office environment that demands attention to detail and professionalism is essential. The EA will be a member of the Operations Team and support the smooth operation of the Program Management Office.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with the Operations Lead to respond to tasks related to the PMAs operations
  • Assist with running reports on project progress for program status for the PEO
  • Ensure memorandums and endorsements fell within the guidelines of the Naval Correspondence Manual
  • Perform security checks and escort visitors as required
  • Assist other EAs in the performance and completion of their duties
  • Collect, analyze and report routine and intermittent tasks
  • Develop and update PowerPoint presentations
  • Use MS Teams and SharePoint sites to control and manage data
  • Apply business rules and processes to gather, assess, and report data
  • Attend Operations meetings

Required Education:

High School degree or GED

Required Experience:

Experience performing duties described in the functional description. Proven track record of relationship-building, leadership, and analytical skills. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively orally and written and possessing excellent organizational skills.

Desired Experience:

Intermediate or higher level skill in Microsoft Office. Experience in MS Teams, Adobe Acrobat, and SharePoint a plus.
