Job Summary/Purpose: The Gemini 3 Group is seeking a Program Analyst III to support the Marine Corps’ vision, strategy, mission, and goals within Program Manager Applications (PM APPS) to deliver applications efficiently and effectively to the Warfighter and leverage new technologies Essential Responsibilities/Functions:

  • Performs the technical efforts in support of program requirements.

  • Applies a wide range of analytical techniques, statistical assessment, and other measures in evaluating data to reach appropriate conclusions.

  • Translates/recommends processes and procedures to ensure proper consideration of programmatic, technical, and management factors for overall program management successes.

  • Responsible for the development, maintenance, and coordination of documents supporting Milestone reviews, legislation, regulations, policy, and other records.

  • Prepare agendas, capture attendance, and record action items while maintaining a current list of all open and closed action items, for inclusion in meeting minutes.

  • Prepares, delivers, updates, and maintains all program schedules, notional timelines, program Road Maps, program Placemats, executive-level schedule diagrams that identify programmatic activities and tasks, and provides the acquisition team’s program status reports in the form of situation reports (SITREPs).

  • Maintains the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for all program teams in Microsoft Project.

  • Develops Transition Plans and program documents for the transition of programs out of the PM APPS portfolio over to other organizations within the Marine Corps using the approved MCSC templates and tailor based on program requirements.

  • Prepares briefs in support of program and technical review efforts including, but not limited to, Program Management Reviews (PMRs), Programs Health Assessments, Plans of Actions and Milestones (POA&M), Courses of Actions (COAs), technical decisions, and Analysis of Alternative (AOAs).

  • Arranges and participates in program management reviews and events (e.g. Health Assessments, Risk Review Boards, and Integrated Program Reviews).

    Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Must be able to work independently and manage multiple tasks at one time.

  • Must be detail oriented and highly organized, able to manage priorities to meet deadlines.

  • Effective proofing and quality assurance capabilities to include excellent spelling and grammar and familiarity with military correspondence and competency-specific document formats/templates.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat (forms, signatures).

    Required Experience:

  • Minimum of five years’ experience is in program management.

    Required Education , Licenses and Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in program management.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is desired but not required.

    Security Clearance Requirements:

  • Active Secret Clearance
