Description We are inviting applications for the role of Payroll Clerk based in Stamford, Connecticut. In this role, you will be involved in the processing of payroll for both exempt and non-exempt employees, maintaining related records, and handling various payroll schedules. This role falls within the finance and accounting industry and offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process payroll for both exempt and non-exempt employees

• Handle benefit billing reconciliation and submission to Accounts Payable for timely payments

• Audit and reconcile quarterly and yearly tax reports and filings

• Manage all wage garnishments

• Work with multiple payroll schedules efficiently

• Provide accurate responses to all employee payroll related inquiries via phone and email within 48 hours

• Calculate and process final payments documents

• Extend support and assistance to other payroll team members

• Leverage skills in Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, Ceridian, IBM AS/400, Kronos Timekeeping System, About Time, Accounting Functions, Accounts Payable (AP), Benefit Functions, Check Processing. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services

• Familiarity with Ceridian software

• Knowledge of IBM AS/400

• Expertise in Kronos Timekeeping System

• Experience with About Time software

• Proficiency in Accounting Functions

• Knowledge in handling Accounts Payable (AP)

• Familiarity with Benefit Functions

• Experience in Check Processing
