Center for Humanistic Change of New Jersey, Inc. CHCNJ is seeking a person with experience in the field of social services to fill the position of Community Living Director.

Some of the responsibilities of the Community Living Director include:

• Promotion and implementation of CHCNJ philosophy

• Recruitment, hiring, training and direct supervision of House Managers in designated programs

• Coordination of the hiring process for direct care staff in designated programs

• Regular visits to designated programs to ensure that programs operate up to the standards of CHCNJ, state and local regulations

• To ensure the continuation of quality care in the absence of the House Manager in designated programs

• Participation in quality improvement meetings, tasks and reviews

• Agency after-hours on call responsibility.

  Minimum requirements for employment at CHCNJ:

• 18 Years of Age

• High School Diploma/GED

• Basic Computer Skills

• Valid Driver’s License

• Acceptable Driving Record

• COVID vaccination and booster

  Qualifications for the Community Living Director position include:

• A minimum of two years supervisory or administrative experience

• A degree in Human Services or a related field

• Appropriately related background and knowledge of community based care.
