SYNGENTA CORP Crop Trait Conversion Process and Evaluation Intern in Stanton, Minnesota

What Your Responsibilities Will Be: Management of soybean and corn plants in a greenhouse setting including: planting, identity management, plant health maintenance, and experimentation. Design and conduction of experiments to improve identification of trait-positive plants in early growth stages. Tissue sampling and sample preparation of plants for phenotype and/or genotype analysis. Interpretation and analysis of experiment results, including drawing conclusions on efficacy of experiments. To support that challenge, the North America Trait Introgression (NA TI) team is currently looking for a skilled individual to join our group of TI Pipeline and Applied Genetic Scientists, and help us accelerate the delivery of high-quality traited elite germplasm to the business, contributing to superior product performance and genetic gain. As an intern in TI, you will interact with Greenhouse Operations, Field Operations, and Breeding to develop next generation corn and soy varieties.
