Responsibilities Phenotyping Protocols: Assist in the development and implementation of phenotyping protocols for soybean and hybrid wheat, including plant imaging, trait measurements, and data collection using advanced phenotyping technologies. Data Analysis: Contribute to the analysis of phenotypic data, including image processing, feature extraction, and statistical analysis to identify key traits and patterns relevant to soybean and hybrid wheat breeding programs. Field Work: Participate in field-based phenotyping activities, including experimental design, data collection, and maintenance of field trial plots. Research Support: Collaborate with the research team to support ongoing projects, literature reviews, and experimental design for phenomics studies. Must be a current student continuing education upon completion of co-op term (graduation date of May 2026 or after) Strong interest in plant phenotyping, genetics, and agricultural research. Proficiency in data analysis tools such as R, SQL, Python, and related software. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a team environment. Prior experience with plant phenotyping, agricultural field research, or laboratory science is a plus.
