Lakewood Pines has 43 apartments and Lakewood Manor has 26 apartments. Mission for Position The Clinical Nurse Supervisor will ensure all clients at Lakewood Manor receive high quality, compassionate care in accordance with current assisted living regulations. Duties & Responsibilities OR Position Summary Manage assisted living services that are provided including: Completing essential paperwork and complying with state regulations including incident reports, coordination with case workers, policy updates, updating care plans and implementing provider orders. Monitoring and maintaining resident records and nursing notes Implementing, reviewing and revising service agreements with clients Communications with physicians and other personnel regarding changes in client needs or conditions. Oversight of medication administration and disposal by unlicensed staff, including checking new medications from pharmacy. Responsible for management of Tuberculosis/Infection Control Program Supervision of other nursing and unlicensed personnel including: Orientation, training, competency testing and regular check-ins of all designated employees. Promotion of trust, confidence and competency of personnel by attendance and in-person supervision of all shifts. Coordinate staff education including at least 8 hours of in-services per year. Monitoring staff compliance of monthly resident treatments and scheduled. Provide support and address needs for programs including the communication of changes to resident care plans, coordination of services with other service providers and on-call availability for medical questions and/or emergencies via phone. Develops and maintains positive working relationships with staff, clients, families and other service providers. Position Type Full time, Salaried. Primarily weekday shifts with rotating nurse resource expectation for after-hours clinical cosultation.
