About the Unit/Department/Team We are a critical access hospital with a nine bed Emergency Department. Our ED admitting desk is staffed 24/7 and the ED HUC/Admitting clerk supports the ED and the entire health system. Mission for Position To support the Emergency Department and health system to provide personalized, quality care to each patient, every time. Duties & Responsibilities Primary Responsibilities Provide customer service to internal and external customers at Lakewood Multitask with clerical duties includingbut not limitedto phone, registration, and paging Maintain patient and system confidentiality according to HIPPA guidelines and Lakewood's policies Position Type This position is part-time working 16-24 hours every two weeks, primarily every other weekend. Shift time would be 6:00am - 2:00pm, with the ability to pick up additional shifts as they are available. Will include shifts at the ED admitting desk to support the ED and health system, as well as a holiday rotation.
