Job Summary

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Construction Surveyor to join our team. Your expertise will be crucial in guiding construction projects and ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety standards.We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Construction Surveyor to join our team. Main Responsibilities

Conduct precise measurements and use equipment such as GPS and laser levels to accurately establish reference points, grades, and elevations on construction sites. Interpret engineering drawings to determine the layout and dimensions of structures and infrastructure. Collaborate closely with engineers and project managers to provide surveying support throughout all phases of construction. Verify the accuracy of survey data, including calculations and field notes, and maintain comprehensive records of survey information. Monitor construction work to ensure alignment with established survey marks and benchmarks. Identify potential issues or deviations from design plans and work with the project team to implement corrective actions. Provide guidance and support to construction crews regarding survey-related matters.

Education

Proven experience as a Construction Surveyor or similar role in the construction industry.

Skills

Proficiency in using surveying instruments Strong mathematical and analytical skills, with the ability to perform complex calculations. Proven understanding of construction procedures, materials, and specifications. Excellent communication and social skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

Wears and maintains personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by Company safety guidelines Regularly required to lift and /or move up to 50 pounds with or without assistance, use hands to move and manipulate objects, and communicate (talk and hear) Frequently required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl Standing/working on feet for long periods, and walking across uneven terrain Frequent exposure to loud noise, all outdoor weather conditions, dust, fuel, oil, other chemicals, and airborne particles Regularly exposed to fuel, oil, and other chemicals Abides by company safety and drug/alcohol testing requirements
