Responsibilities:

The position of Senior Software Engineer I is responsible for the following:

1. Provide software application development support of our food industry specific software platform, leveraging existing and related food service industry experience.
2. Program support in the areas of Adobe ColdFusion application development, HTML, CSS, AJAX, JavaScript, and DevExtreme.
3. Provide Database support which includes writing and optimizing advanced SQL queries.
4. Interface with the client support team on project requests to ensure requirements are met.

5. Test all assigned project work and provide daily status updates to Engineering team managers.

    

Requirements & Qualifications:

Employer requires a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or closely related field and two (2) years of work experience as a Software Engineer or related occupation. In addition, the employer requires the candidate to have the following:

1. Demonstrated knowledge of Web Development processes gained through two [2] years of work experience;
2. Demonstrated knowledge of SQL gained through two [2] years of work experience;
3. Demonstrated knowledge of the workings of the Food Service Industry including knowledge of the players [manufacturers, distributors, brokers, operators] and the impact of the software they need within the industry gained through two [2] years of work experience; and

4. Demonstrated knowledge of Adobe ColdFusion gained through two (2) years of work experience.

    

All years of experience may be gained concurrently.
