The Leggett & Platt Flooring division, located in Statesville, NC is searching for aRouting Coordinatorin our Traffic Department to help support our Carpet Underlay business unit.

As aRouting Coordinatoryou will have the opportunity to demonstrate your skills to efficiently build and route trucks in preparation for delivery of our carpet underlay. Your contributions will have a direct impact on the business by ensuring that our customers' orders are produced and scheduled accurately to ensure that our fleet of drivers are able to deliver to our customers in a timely manner.

So, what will you be doing as a Routing Coordinator?

• Receive and enter customer orders in system

• Create & build routing manifests in system

• Coordinate special load needs [drop trailer, specific trailer size, special delivery time, etc.

• Optimize loads that are built by locations and times

• Put orders in correct order according to route using PC Miller

• Generate mold schedule for production plant

• Run production labels

• Confirm orders before delivery

• Dispatch drivers on delivery schedules

• Must be able to do basic mathematic calculations

  To be successful in this role, you’ll need to have the following:

• Working knowledge and experience using Qualcomm (electronic driver logs)

• Working knowledge & experience with CDL trucking hour laws (Federal DOT)

• Experience building truck loads to deliver to multiple stops

• Experience assigning truck drivers to delivery routes

• Experience working with Excel and Access is a plus
